How Much Does Kybella Cost?
You may feel self-conscious if you have a double chin or fat layer below your chin. Kybella could be the answer to your self-consciousness. This FDA-approved non-surgical, injectable procedure can reduce fat under your chin and the size of your jowls. Keep reading to find out how much Kybella might cost you.
Kybella Pricing
Each Kybella treatment plan has its pricing. Prices can vary from one patient to the next. Kybella treatments typically cost between $1000 to $2,400. The cost will depend on how many treatments you need. We may recommend Coolsculpting first to debulk submental fat. Coolsculpting doesn’t cause Kybella swelling after the procedure, so there is less downtime. The cost of the second and third treatments may be lower. Kybella can follow the Coolsculpting procedure after results are achieved to refine the area and reduce jowls.
Your insurance does not cover Kybella because it is a cosmetic procedure, not a medical necessity. We can discuss a treatment plan that includes multiple procedures to achieve the desired results over time. You don’t have to pay upfront for expensive packages.
How Kybella Works
Kybella injectable treatment is formulated with synthetic deoxycholic acids, identical to the ones your gall bladder makes daily. The body uses deoxycholic acid to break down and absorb dietary fat. Our board-certified dermatologists inject Kybella under your chin and into your jows to permanently decrease fat cells. This will leave you with a slimmer, more youthful appearance with minimal discomfort. We recommend three to four treatments for double-chin areas. These should be spaced out over eight to twelve weeks. We also recommend that patients receive 1-2 submental Coolsculpting treatments followed by 1-2 Kybella treatments. To reduce jowls, generally, only 1-2 treatments are required.
Is Kybella Permanent?
Kybella will destroy fat cells in your body. These cells won’t be able to store or accumulate any more fat. Once you have achieved your desired results, no additional treatment is necessary. Kybella is a permanent solution for your double chin. It causes minimal pain, bruising, and swelling.
